Messy Mays

...
I am a firm believer that in order to organize you must first make a really BIG mess. I like to organize in piles... it drives Kelly crazy. How our relationship survived 12 moves in 8 years is really an act of God. But because Kelly is at work during the weekdays it means that I get to organize 'Julie style'. Works for me and wards off a potential weekend rumble with the hubby...

Today we were listening to this awesome new kid's cd from the library and something came over me. I was a cleaning machine! I really attribute this to the music because it was really upbeat and silly, which apparently is just what you need to get in the mood to clean.

Molly and Gabe were vital members of the wrecking...er, I mean cleaning crew. It really helps that Molly loves to boss Gabriel into helping and Gabriel likes to empty containers. It was the perfect match.

Extreme chaos is really the most accurate description of the process. If you look very closely you might see a woman on a bicycle flying past my window...
How was all of this living in a toddler sized closet?
Everything is MUCH better now. Each toy and clothing item has its very own place now... well, at least for today. Gabriel had a little difficulty with the process of putting it all back together. He really prefers the knock-over-and-destroy method the best.
