Gabriel is such a loving big brother to our Lucy girl. In fact, he sits right next to her in the car and this is truly one of my most favorite things ever... he likes to hold her hand while we drive. Occassionally, I have to reign in his "helping" aka cramming her pacifier in her mouth, cheek, eye... you know the general area of her face. I am always looking for great ways for our big boy to help.
So today presented with the perfect opportunity. Lucy is in a growth spurt and cluster feeding right now (wowzers, is that work.) and thus she is STARVING about every 2 hours. So today while coming home from the grocery store she started fussing in a Lucy kind of way--- I won't go too much into it because I don't want you to hate me. She is pretty great. Anyways, as she is fussing I decide this is a perfect opportunity to give Gabe a job. I ask him if he could talk to Lucy to make her smile. (That girl is a sucker for a face covered in dirt.)
Gabe seems to love the idea. He turns to Lucy.
Takes her hand oh so lovingly.
Starts in a whisper...
"Lucy. Dinosaurs are soooo scary."
A little louder now....
"The have SHARP teeth"
And finally...
"They always ROOOOOOAAARRR so loud like this. ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRR".
